MIAMI CITY COMMISSIONER FRANCIS X. SUAREZ CUTS THE RIBBON ON A NEW HOME FOR LEGAL SERVICES OF GREATER MIAMI
Over 100 guests joined Legal Services of Greater Miami (Legal Services) and Miami City Commissioner Francis X. Suarez on October 5th as he cut the ribbon on the new home of Legal Services at The Chesterfield Smith Center for Equal Justice. Sponsored by Wells Fargo, this wonderful “Tour and a Toast” event celebrated the opening of the beautiful newly renovated five story building located at 4343 W. Flagler Street. The new building allows Legal Services to continue its long tradition of helping our most vulnerable neighbors as they journey on their path to economic stability. Joining the celebration were leaders from the legal, civic and business communities. “We are grateful for the generosity of our funders, philanthropists, law firms and corporate sponsors who made it possible for us to create this new home, and thank everyone who came to celebrate with us. Our new central location positions us to better meet the growing needs of the clients we serve,” said Executive Director Monica Vigues-Pitan.
