Professor Elliott Manning has always been a believer in championing good causes, and equal justice is one of those good causes. We are honored to have him as a decades’ long, continuous supporter of Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc.
Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Professor Manning received his A.B from Columbia College and went on to study law at Harvard Law School. Before joining the University of Miami School of Law, Professor Manning was an associate and then partner at the New York law firm of Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen and Hamilton.
Retired from the University of Miami in 2016, Professor Manning continues to teach there on an adjunct basis. This semester he is teaching a Business Planning Seminar. Even as he enjoys retired life, Professor Manning continues to support Legal Services of Greater Miami and our mission, and for that we are grateful.
