The Young Professionals Council is a group of professionals with diverse backgrounds and careers who are dedicated to Legal Services’ mission of providing high-quality, free legal services to low-income individuals and families in Miami Dade and Monroe Counties.

The Council organizes events geared towards raising funds to support Legal Services, specifically the Client Fund. The Client Fund provides grocery vouchers for Legal Services clients who are in dire need. Click Here to donate directly to The Client Fund.

We welcome all who are committed to making an impact on our community and seeking opportunities to Build a Community of Equal Justice by:

• Serving as Ambassadors in the Community

• Volunteering Time & Services

• Raising Money

• Hosting Events

A minimum annual contribution of $100 ($50 for students) is suggested. This contribution supports Legal Services’ advocacy efforts.  Council members will enjoy:

• Reduced ticket pricing for Heart of Giving Celebration

• Access to two (2) Continuing Legal Education (CLE) opportunities

• Conversation with Leaders events

• Invitation to Chesterfield Smith Society events & Holiday Appreciation Event

• Recognition on Legal Services Website & Newsletter
