The Young Professionals Council is a group of leaders with diverse backgrounds whose mission is to advance access to equal justice by connecting young professionals through community involvement, service, and philanthropy.

We welcome all who are committed to making an impact on our community and seeking opportunities to Build a Community of Equal Justice by:

• Serving as Ambassadors in the Community

• Volunteering Time & Services

• Raising Money for the Client Fund

• Hosting Events

A minimum annual contribution of $100 ($50 for students) is suggested. This contribution supports Legal Services’ advocacy efforts.  Council members will enjoy:

• Reduced ticket pricing for Heart of Giving Celebration

• Conversation with Leaders events

• Invitation to Chesterfield Smith Society events & Holiday Appreciation Event

• Recognition on Legal Services Website & Newsletter

Throughout the year, the Council raises money for our Client Fund, which provides grocery money for Legal Services’ clients who are in dire need of assistance. To give directly to the Client Fund, please follow this link. Giving to the Fund also satisfies the annual Council contribution.
